Sweet Deal: P750 for mouthwateringly succulent steaks + drinks at Melo's (worth P1500).
The word ‘steakhouse’ incorporates two of life’s necessities: food
and shelter. Carmelo ‘Melo’
Santiago takes these basic needs and exalts them with style. The savvy
restaurateur opened his first Melo’s branch in 1988 with subsequent branches
staying true to his vision and hobby of collecting cutlery. His winning
combination of excellent food, sophisticated setting, and good music has been
enticing discerning palates for over 20 years.
Many meals begin with the Oysters
Rockefeller (P280) or specialty salads like the Waldorf with Duck Breast (P330) prepared to Melo’s highest
standards. The menu features an array of seafood like Prawns Ajillo and Halibut
with Salsa Verde starting at an affordable P475. Whether a carnivore or
connoisseur, Melo’s serves up prime cuts of bona fide beef -- no mistake, this
is serious steak. The signature Certified Angus Ribeye and bestseller Wagyu cart are famous staples of Melo’s
fine dining experience. These gourmet carts arrive at tablesides allowing
patrons to decide upon the thickness of cut before it is grilled to perfection.
Additionally, USDA Fillets of Beef
start at P560 while Angus Burgers, Wagyu Striploins, and Tenderloin Salpicao represent a small
part of this extensive menu. Guests then choose sauces ranging from béarnaise
to green peppercorn to balsamico to top off their premium steak.
Finally, Melo’s takes it up a final notch with Toasted Fats -- decadently toasted
steak fat cum savory chicharon that is added to Angus or Wagyu Rice for that
extra flavor and crunch. Save room for Sweet Bella’s award winning desserts like
the Chocolatta, Lemoncello, and Midnight Deco.

REVIEWS
Their service is impeccable and the wagyu is of high quality, yet reasonably priced. I'd go back there with my family on our next special occasion.

So When In Manila and you’re craving for a GOOD STEAK, then Melo’s is the place to go! Try their super juicy tenderloin steak like I did and see what it feels like to have a steak melt in your mouth (that’s what she said). Oh and don’t forget to try the Melo’s Steak House desserts from Sweet Bella cakes and pastries!

this was probably one of the best steak place I’ve ever been to (aside from Tony Roma’s). Heavy on the wallet, yes, but if you have cash to spare and looking for a good place to eat, Melo’s steaks are worth a try.
