During the
Spanish-Filipino war, secret supporters of the Katipunan would hide explosives
in dough balls and would use them as crude hand grenades or malleable TNT. Have
a taste of modern warfare with today's Sweet Deal: P360 instead of P720 for a box of Gourmet Pao (6 Flavors: Tuna Dekada, Manuquini, Dancing Queen, Sosy-sig, Longga Ka Day, Ciao Bella).
Gourmet Pao proves presents a new and unique way to enjoy
the usual Chinese delicacy. Boasting a delightful gamut of must-try flavors,
these gourmet oriental treats are made and served hot and fresh daily. Sweet Deal holders can take home a box with
6 delectable siopaos that are thrice size of the usual ones served in
regular Chinese fastfood chains. Customers may choose to have their delicious
treats enveloped in a soft, steamed regular white dough or wheat bun in
grande size. Choose between fillings
such as Tuna Dekada (tuna, slightly
spicy, capers, olive oil, egg, and cheese), Manuquini (chicken, egg), Dancing
Queen (cheese, ham, egg, and bacon), Sosy-sig
(pork sisig and egg), Longga Ka Day
(longganisa and egg), or Ciao Bella
(tuna, black and green olives, capers, onions, garlic, olive oil, tomato sauce,
and basil - puttanesca in a bun). Their
other flavors include: Bob's Queso (bacon and cheese),
Seven Treasures (Chorizo
de Bilbao, pork, chicken, bacon, cheese, egg and Bologna), Chucho
(cheese, ham and chorizo), Sea-Sig (Bangus sisig and egg), Maxi-Moo
(corned beef
and egg), on their Pesto-Veggie (pesto with grilled egg, red pepper, zuchinni,
garlic and eggplant).

REVIEWS
I realized that it's best eaten fresh from the steamer. The wheat dough is soft and the filling still hot. It's not "grainy" too like other wheat-based bread products. -- [pinkc00kies]
It is soooooooooooo great! The dough are super soft and chewy, and the filling – oh men, the cheeses are melting in my mouth (it will be a little off, if it melted outside my mouth though). -- JCMANLICLIC, 04/10/2011
