Sweet Deal: P1500 instead of P3000 for 6 sessions for a Women's
Soccer Clinic at Barrio Football Academy.
The Barrio Football Academy encourages women and little tykes to run, steal and kick balls while teaching them the value of teamwork, exercise and that practice makes you sweaty. The football school is located in the heart of the Ortigas Center at the Corinthian Gardens subdivision, right across Robinsons Galleria. Experts at fancy footwork and fanatic ball kickers consist of former and present Philippine National Team members, International Licensed Football Coaches, and a Fitness and Nutrition consultant all came together to collaborate in this summer’s program, creating intensively fun modules and drills to educate bendable minds in the fine art of foot-fueled accuracy. Proving that football isn't only a man's game and that women can also bend it like Beckham, the BFA invites women 17-years-old and up to release their stress by kicking a ball around a field while trying not to hit themselves on the goal posts while evading flying benches. Training starts at 6pm and ends at 8pm every Tuesday and Thursday at Corinthian Gardens, allotting enough time in the week for other activities like watching makeup tutorials on YouTube, hosting un-birthday tea parties, and one-handed parasailing.
Like in any football game, players are required to bring the necessary equipment: a shirt or jersey, shorts, long socks, soccer shoes, shin guards, water, towels and glorified guts. There are no lockers available for future ball pushers, so packing light is highly recommended.
