When people are sheltered underneath one roof for an extensive amount of time, they never get to experience the joys of other things like eating fish balls while bungee jumping or chewing on a half-baked chicken leg while sky diving. Enjoy the comforts outside the home with today’s Groupon to Chef Arch's Lime. Choose between three options:
- P200 for P400 worth of food and drinks
- P290 for P600 worth of food and drinks
- P380 for P800 worth of food and drinks
Chef Arch's Lime is a street food paradise located in the heart of Mandaluyong City, where they serve tweaked street food staples that complement more sophisticated tongues. First timers who enjoy “kwek-kwek” should try the Quail Eggs Tempura (P120), the street egg’s counterpart, still served with face-tightening vinegar. Creamy Garlic Tuyo Pasta (P120) is a must-try for spaghetti lovers as it whets the appetite without being too sinful, even if the tiny fish looks like an alien bursting out of the chest of the dish. Of course, street food is not quite complete without grilled body parts so their Street Style Barebecue Platter containing pork and chicken intestine, chicken tail and betamax (P185) is a perfect addition to any table; consisting of chicken butt, chicken satay, chicken intestines and pig’s ears skewered on barbecue sticks, this will tickle the fancy of any true Filipino. Other specialties include Street Style Baby Back Ribs (P195), Osso Bucco Style Kare Kare (P230), Embotido Stuffed Crispy Pata (P320), and Balut in Red Wine Sauce (P180), which is the sophisticated version of the tasty, but often feared and misunderstood duck embryo.
It’s a refreshing take on the usual fare that Filipinos already know of. The attempt to add a twist to what has been otherwise, familiar and typical, is indeed a brave undertaking. Because of this, Chef Arch's Lime will certainly be my “tambayan” whenever I want an upgrade from Manong Fishballs.

I will always remember to not judge a restaurant by how it looks but by how the food would taste like. I'm going back to Chef Arc's Lime for sure and I do hope the place remains to be a secret. We almost tasted everything in the menu and this was the first time we had such a wonderful taste test experience.
