Rizal was known for many great things - his books, his patriotism, his
leadership and most importantly, being the primo Filipino supermodel, having
his face plastered on the cover of hundreds of millions of wanted posters and
one-peso coins. Commemorate his historical fierceness with today’s Sweet Deal: P100 instead of P200 for two tickets OR P500 instead of P1000 for a Group Admission of 10 to the RIZALizing the Future Exhibit at the Yuchengco Museum.
To mark his 150th year, the Yuchengco Museum proudly features the country’s hero by showcasing a lineup of artworks, memorabilla and archival photographs once owned by Rizal himself. Some notable objects are sketches done by the maestro, attractive visual imagery done by Team Manila, as well as banknotes and coins bearing his image. Together with the Yuchengco Group of Companies, also celebrating their 100th year, the RIZALizing the Future exhibit aims to open the eyes of visitors to the life of Rizal and help them realize why his life has been the root of inspiration for many Filipinos. Explore and meditate by paying a visit to the serene circular floating garden, while pondering on the legendary man’s novels, letters and poems which give readers a hint on what he holds dear - his principles, values and where he’s hiding the coco jam.
Everyone is taking part in this momentous event as other countries which the wandering intellectual wonder has set foot in collaboratively put up events such as fundraising dinners and performances to remember his life, contributions and accomplishments. Aside from the aforementioned features, Sweet Deal ticket holders are also encouraged to attend events that the museum will also be holding to showcase the many different dimensions of the National Hero, such as book launches, fundraising dinners and lectures.
