Seventy Seven Café Bar and Resto prides itself in a casual hang-outable atmosphere, being an old home-cum-bar, accented by staff who keeps to their tagline, "The beer is cold, but the people are not," without asking a lot of intrusive questions about your apartment layout. It used to be a family-owned restaurant, and though the café's servers are no longer eight-year-olds on summer vacation and its bus staff no longer the family pets, their hospitality will take care of all the details so that you're free to lounge and people-watch.
Foodies from various parts of the metro stand in salute to Seventy Seven Café’s mouth-watering menu. Food troopers will be awed with its tasty Nachos (P120), the infamous, delectable Titas (P165) and its cheesified Quesadillas (P150) as a sumptuous way of starting the meal. Bonafide food lovers savor the yummy, food-trooper-approved 77 Pizza (P230), the succulent Buttered Chicken (P210), and the exciting Meatballs Pasta (P260). Real food enthusiasts can’t leave this food lover’s hub without taking the chance to devour the appetizing Pork Sisig (P165), the lip-smacking Beef Tapa (P160), and the scrumptious Grilled Pesto Chix (P200) while slurping a bottle of beer or two.

I love hanging out at cozy, laid back places and Seventy Seven Restaurant Bar offers that atmosphere. With an old house converted into a restaurant/bar, how more at home can you get? This place has always been my go to restaurant when I'm not sure what to eat, because here I have my tried and tested favorites.”-- annabanana
I’m excited to say that this is the COOLEST bar I’ve been to in a long time. I just love this place. It reminded me of the chill, non-descript bars I used to frequent in the Haight-Fillmore area in San Francisco, CA. Artsy but unpretentious, it had that melt-into-the-couch lounge vibe that I love. It’s a lot more than the bars you’ll find in the Makati CBD or in Global City. While those places are more chi-chi and expensive – the type where you get all dolled up to go see and be seen – 77 Bar Cafe Resto, like many establishments along Maginhawa Street in QC, are more for those looking to just relax with friends and enjoy a cold one while listening to great music.-- JB Ablaza Macatulad
