Fortify tendons and loosen up joints during body-art sessions at Dance Station. In Contemporary Dance classes, students will be taught the graceful arabesques of ballet, the glitzy motions of jazz and the hip-busting grooves of hip-hop. These classes will be facilitated by Andrew Ordo, a European Tour performer, boasting his moves in Holland, Belgium, France, Italy, and Germany, to name a few; and a part of the International Smash Hit Musical Tour, gracing several countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. He is also a former member of Douglas Nieras Power Dance.
Groupon holders may otherwise opt for Zumba classes, an American-based, mime-free dance fitness program, which incorporates popular Latin and international dances into easy steps that will surely delight its fitness-challenged and condition-fanatic participants, ridding them of excess baggage such as saddlesacks, love-handles, obliques, and thunder thighs. Zumba allows participants to feel and dance to the music in order to release all the negative energy and calories off their bodies which stemmed from stressful horror films, hate mail or chasing around six-year olds and picking up after them, leaving trainees with a strong desire to pursue dancing as a professional hobby. The program blends red-hot international music, created by Grammy-winning producers, with contagious choreography from dance styles including salsa, merengue, cumbia, samba, belly dance, bhangra, hip-hop and other world rhythms. Classes will be facilitated by Lei Valle, an official Zumba instructor of basic steps level one and two and a member of the Zumba Instructor Network.
