I never normally make comments, but this hotel and the Cambodian people made my "Bucket List" trip to the temples of Angkor a wonderful experience.I booked this directly with the hotel myself for 6 nights and they offered a free upgrade to next best room which was a Borei Suite which was beautiful. They turned down our bed and put slippers out for us and refreshed all the towels we had used during the day.We had a lovely view overlooking the pool. Breakfast buffet (included)was amazing and had everything you could imagine. We had dinner at the hotel most nights too and dinner buffet was excellent.Lovely cocktails which mean't I had a few of them!! We used the hotel Tuk-Tuk each day,$15 dollars for the whole day (unless you had to go to one of the temples further away, $25) and all their drivers spoke good english and were very friendly and helpful. Airport transfers were also included and they even picked us up at the bus station as we had taken the bus from Phnom Penh. Wonderful service from all the staff...even the e-mails before we went were replied to within hours. Thank you.

The Borei Angkor was recommended to us by expat friends in Cambodia, particularly for its fabulous pool, but we found it excellent all-round - a real oasis of calm and tranquility in the midst of hot, tiring temple tours.The 6-night package we booked on-line included airport transfers, breakfasts, one buffet meal and also laundry throughout - great value! Although a large resort hotel, there is a really personal feel with great attention to detail - a tribute to excellent management! Staff knew our names and the fact that we had a half bottle of wine on ice! The breakfasts are awesome, Just be aware that if your room is on the top floor you'll need to walk the last flight of stairs.
