The experienced instructors of IAFT take artistic hatchlings under their wing in both the 3 and 9-Week Filmmaking programs where aspiring filmmakers will be taught how to write, shoot and edit their own short movie. The classes will be taught under the knowledgeable mentorship of enchanting professors who are well versed in their own crafts such as Richard Hearsey, a producer for 25 years who has worked with BBC, Mark Goodson, Fremantle, CBS and Reg Grundy Productions to name a few; Greg Curda, a Hollywood veteran sound mixer with over 75 feature films to his credit and has 12 Golden Reel nominations, 3 Academy Award nominations, and one team Oscar for Sound Effects on Hunt For Red October; and Mark Gary a director and a trusted Director of Photography for commercials of quite a few notable companies, feature films and music videos. The classes cover the basic fundamentals of filmmaking including screenwriting, producing, directing, cinematography, editing and sound as well as casting the perfect hufflepuffing wizard as the next sparkling vampire.
