The world, being
two-thirds water, is packed with tropical destinations, most of which offer
picturesque scenes of powder white sand dunes and a handful of beach-related
activities. Dive Thru Scuba Resort offers
both and is where Groupon holders will be able to relax whilst not diving into
the liquefied sky mirror, which is the ocean. Dive Thru Scuba Resort in Bohol is an escape
destination to the pristine white sandy shores of Bohol that consists of Modern
Asian-inspired structures that are set on the rocky coast of Panglao Island. A
Groupon lets two travelers take rest in a Superior
Room that has a queen size bed, flat screen TV with cable, hot/cold shower and full air-conditioning.
With 11
comfortable bedroom units, all of which boasts of a poolside view and merely a
few steps away from the beach, they offer facilities such as a contemporary
dive shop, a 4-to-13-foot swimming pool, a spa area, a souvenir shop, a conference
room and a restaurant.

REVIEWS
We had a great stay with Dive Thru. They were waiting for us at the airport (free pick up and drop off) and it took about 30 minutes to get to the hotel (at the end you turn off onto a big dirt road and then onto a really small dirt road that twists and turns to get you to the resort). When we got the the resort staff were waiting to serve us with iced tea/watermelon juice drink and to carry our bags to our room. All the staff were really nice. The grounds of the resort are really beautiful (even nicer than in the photos) and our room was good (deluxe room)--was perfectly clean and had working A/C and hot water. The bathroom was a little small, but it was fine. The resort is on the sea, but there's no sand. We walked to Alona beach on a trail along the shore and it took us about 20 minutes walking very slowly to get there (about 25 to the main part of the beach where it hits the main road). We arranged a land tour through the resort (~P4,000 for both of us) and a dolphin watching/snorkeling/Virgin Island tour (~P3,000). For the latter the boat picks you up right at the resort and the staff packed us a breakfast to take with us since we left before they started serving. My wife got an hour massage (~P350) and loved it. It's very quiet and relaxing, though this means it's difficult to get out after dark--you have to call a car to pick you up and we were told they charge P600. It's easy to walk during daylight and it's easy to find transportation back from Alona (we took a tricycle for P100 including tip). The restaurant was good. My favorite things were the friendly staff and the beautiful atmosphere at the resort.
